Jennifer grew up on a steady diet of classic cartoons and mid-century picture books, many of which still bear her bite marks. Twenty years after picking up her first crayon, she earned a BFA degree and promptly went to work in the financial services industry. (She’s always had a horrible sense of direction.) But the truth is she would rather paint, so she put her degree to use and started writing and illustrating for children.
