Wren Rios

Wren is an author/illustrator who grew up bouncing back and forth between Puerto Rico and New Jersey. Being trans and “different”, she never found a real connection to either place but found her own home and comfort within her overactive imagination. Now as an adult, she uses those stories to explore all aspects of her cultural upbringing, further expressing herself in what it means to be trans, afro-latine, and queer. You can find Wren at the edge of every ray of sunshine embracing its quiet, calm quality and admiring the way the light bounces off its surroundings.
