Anisi Baigude

Anisi is a Mongolian American illustrator based in San Diego. The many places Anisi has lived in throughout her life, including Inner Mongolia, China, Japan, Massachusetts, and California, have inspired her artwork today. She's on the lookout for projects that give her the opportunity to research cultural traditions, children's games, and folktales, and she always appreciates fun facts, whether they're about history or the natural world. She'd particularly love a story that incorporates Naadam, a traditional Mongolian festival that consists of archery, horse racing, and wrestling. When Anisi isn't illustrating, you can find her exploring new places in the spirit of her nomadic roots, sketching all along the way.
