Emanuel is a Dutch author-illustrator, animator, and storyboard artist who has illustrated more than twenty middle grade and picture books. He loves working on stories with a bit of edge, and projects that are just a little scary. When he’s not drawing or writing, Emanuel loves reading graphic novels, playing jazz, and restoring vintage Vespas. He lives with his wife and two children in the Netherlands.
