Katie Turner

Katie Turner is a picture book author and illustrator. She was raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, then followed her creative pursuits to study illustration at Parsons School of Design in New York City. An avid reader and artist from a young age, writing and illustrating picture books combine her two first loves into the perfect job. She loves drawing animals, nature scenes, and enchanting creatures like fairies and gnomes in her vibrant, whimsical style. In her free time she enjoys searching for vintage tchotchkes, petting dogs, and rewatching her favorite period pieces. She now lives in Nashville, Tennessee with her husband and two crazy chihuahuas.
