Lindsay Ward

Born and raised in sunny California, Lindsay decided to try snow and moved to upstate New York where she received her BFA in Illustration from Syracuse University. Lindsay is now the author-illustrator of more than two dozen books for kids.  Her work has been reviewed in The New York Times, and her picture book Please Bring Balloons was produced as a play by the New York City Children's Theater in 2017. Lindsay lives in Peninsula, Ohio, surrounded by the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, with her husband, author Frank Tupta; three boys; one dog; and a flock of ducks.
