Sofia Poejo

Sofia (she/they) is an illustrator and designer, born and raised in New York City. She infuses her love for joy and whimsy into her art, which she creates using a mix of traditional media and paper-cut techniques. Sofia has a soft spot for expressive characters brimming with personality, and she values thoughtful storytelling that honors underrepresented perspectives. She’s especially passionate about projects that incorporate disability and LGBTQIA+ representation. In her spare time, she likes to write poetry, take super long walks, and rewatch straight-to-DVD movies.
