Ward Jenkins

Ward is a children's book illustrator and storyboard artist. Space Case: The Graphic Novel by Stuart Gibbs is the first graphic novel he's illustrated and will be released in August 2025. He has illustrated a number of picture books including Tales of the Dairy Godmother: Chuck's Ice Cream Wish, which was awarded the American Farm Bureau Foundation for Agriculture Book of the Year. Additionally, Ward has served as storyboard artist for several animated TV shows such as My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, Ada Twist: Scientist, and more recently Snoopy In Space and Camp Snoopy. Ward loves comedic picture books with great characters, but also would love to illustrate anything STEM related, as well as historical fiction/nonfiction. He lives with his photographer-writer wife and artsy kids in the Atlanta area.
