When Clayton Noguchi’s ex-best friend Aron Santos lands in his theatre class due to an unfulfilled graduation requirement, Clay is not happy. They haven’t spoken since middle school, when Aron suddenly got popular and cool; no way does Clay want Aron crashing his favorite class, especially during senior year. But Aron acts like nothing has changed since they were kids and latches on to Clay. Soon the boys are tentatively rekindling their friendship with improv, movie nights, late night Facetime conversations … and their growing feelings for one another.

But Aron’s not ready to let go of his old life—homophobic friends, a girlfriend who’s really more of a status symbol, and a reluctance to examine his own sexuality—and Clay’s not sure he’s ready to trust Aron again.
