Abigail H. Kim

Abigail is a self-taught illustrator based in Queens, NY. She often draws inspiration from her surroundings and childhood memories, particularly of the days spent in her mother’s upholstery store in a bustling Korean open market. She enjoys working in limited palettes and muted colors and using mediums such as collage, oil pastels, and charcoals to evoke movement and texture. When she’s not illustrating, she can be found looking for new recipes for her sweet tooth, consuming endless amounts of chocolates, or making music with her husband and daughter. She’d love to work on a project with disability representation.
