Cynthia Cliff

Cynthia grew up in a tiny historic village in rural Virginia surrounded by animals, gardens, and a large extended family, all of which provided her with a love of history, family, nature, and folklore. This upbringing fuels her optimistic, whimsical, and self-taught, folk-art-based style. She works both digitally and traditionally (using gouache), and sometimes blends the two. She is a formally trained graphic designer, which developed her keen eye for composition, imaginative color use, and project professionalism.
