Nadia Fisher

Nadia is a self-taught artist and children’s book illustrator based in Washington, DC, who works digitally, using Procreate, and traditionally in watercolor, gouache, and colored pencil. Raised just outside of Venice, Italy, and all over the Washington, DC, area, Nadia has been creating art since she can remember, spending her childhood constantly drawing and telling stories through her illustrations. She draws her inspiration from her daughter, her own childhood memories, and her advocacy for social justice and inclusion. Nadia wants to help normalize inclusion in children's books so that they reflect the diversity of the world.
